Description
Children’s Sonatina is a challenging yet playful work in the Neoclassical style for solo vibraphone. Following an energetic and sprightly A theme the piece transitions into a three voice fugue. The ensuing development borrows from the A theme and the fugue before leading into the recapitulation and a short but spirited coda. Challenging and worth the effort.
